– It is not just a tournament, it is the show that lights up the city of Rome, beyond the game, inside history. A show that – as announced by the President of the International Padel Federation – will remain in Italy for another five years. Foro Italico is ready to transform once again into the ideal stage for great international padel, where technique, grit and over-the-top play will merge into an irresistible mix.

One year after the triumph of Ari Sánchez and Paula Josemaría in the women's and Ale Galan and Federico Chingotto in the men's draw, the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel returns to the Capital. From the qualifiers on June 8th to the finals on Sunday 15th, Rome is ready to welcome the circuit's top players once again. Athletes of world caliber will battle it out to win the coveted title, while the public - protagonists in the stands - will accompany every point with their usual contagious enthusiasm. Eight days of competition at the highest level, an experience to be lived all in one breath.

Thanks to the joint work between the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, Sport e Salute, Roma Capitale and Regione Lazio, Italy is thus confirmed among the privileged nations that Premier Padel and the International Padel Federation have chosen to organize some of the largest, most important and iconic world events dedicated to this discipline.

240 athletes competing in two draws (main draw and qualifiers), with the now consolidated combined formula.118 matches scheduled for one of the four Majors (the equivalent of a Slam tournament in tennis) on the international calendar, along with Doha, Paris and Acapulco.

Joining the Partner family this year are Oysho, as Official Clothing Partner, BullPadel as Official Racket, Ball & Shoes Partner and Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Official Beer. Agenzia ICE / Italian Trade & Investment Agency will be an Institutional Partner of the event. Finally, again this year, RTL 102.5, Corriere dello Sport, Il Messaggero and RomaToday will be Official Media Partners of the event.

TOP PLAYERS ON COURT AGAIN IN ROME - The BNL Italy Major Premier Padel in Rome will once again see the best of the international circuit competing; players will compete to win one of the four most prestigious titles in the world. In pole position will be the number one pair composed by Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello, already winners of the Riyadh Season P1, the Qatar Major Premier Padel, the Brussels P2 and the Buenos Aires P1; on the other side Alejandro Galan and Federico Chingotto, eager to reconfirm themselves at the Foro Italico and winners of three titles in 2025 (Miami, Santiago and Asuncion). Juan Lebron and Franco Stupaczuk also stand out, with 'El Lobo' champion in Rome with Galan in the first edition held in 2022. Great expectations for Mike Yanguas and Coki Nieto, as well as Momo Gonzalez paired with Jon Sanz and Juan Tello together with Martin Di Nenno. Also to keep an eye on the pairs composed by Lucas Bergamini and Paquito Navarro (a true idol of the Foro Italico fans in previous editions), Pablo Cardona and Leandro Augsburger (protagonists of a great start to the season), Edu Alonso and Jairo Bautista, as well as Javi Garrido flanked by Tino Libaak, one of the many players who also graduated as world champions in 2024 with the Argentina jersey.

The women's draw also promises challenges of the highest level: the player of the moment is undoubtedly Gemma Triay, who will play in tandem with Delfi Brea, with whom she is building an extraordinary season, having already conquered the P2 in Gijón and Cancun, the P1 in Miami and, above all, the prestigious Qatar Major Premier Padel. But everyone's eyes will also be on Paula Josemaria and Ari Sánchez, who in Rome will be hunting for their fourth success of the season after victories in the P1 in Riyadh, the P2 in Brussels and the P1 in Buenos Aires, which allowed them to regain the top spot in the ranking after it had been Triay's own for a week. Spotlight is also on other high quality 'parejas' such as Bea González and Claudia Fernández, Andrea Ustero and Sofía Araújo, Marta Ortega alongside Ale Alonso, as well as the experienced Lucía Sainz and Patty Llaguno. The main draw also includes Veronica Virseda together with padel legend Alejandra Salazar, Tamara Icardo flanked by Claudia Jensen, Aranzazu Osoro with Martina Calvo, as well as Bea Caldera and Carmen Goenaga.

But there will also be many Italians on the court: Marco Cassetta - world recordman of titles on the CUPRA FIP Tour, 12, five of which obtained in an extraordinary first half of 2025 - will play with Spaniard José Luis Gonzalez. Spanish partners also for Aris Patiniotis (with David Gala) and for Facundo Dominguez, paired with Alvaro Melendez.

In the women's main draw, Rome's Carolina Orsi - steadily among the top 30 players in the FIP ranking - will play with Spain's Nuria Rodriguez. Other ‘Azzurre’ - silver medal at the European Championships in Cagliari last year and bronze medal at the World Championships in Doha – will also be protagonists on home soil: Giorgia Marchetti, paired with Spaniard Barbara Las Heras, and Carlotta Casali, who will team up with 19- year-old Alba Gallardo, also from Spain.

THE WILD CARDS ANNOUNCED BY CARRARO - From her doubles triumph at the Internazionali BNL d'Italia to a wild card in the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel: not even a month after winning the title on clay with Jasmine Paolini, Sara Errani will return to the Foro Italico to play the Major with the ‘pala’ in her hand. A passion for Errani - a six-time Slam champion in doubles, gold medalist at the Paris Olympics and part of the Billie Jean King Cup winning team in Malaga -, which had led her at the beginning of the season to play two tournaments on the CUPRA FIP Tour, the FIP international circuit: in Melbourne, a few days before the Australian Open, she had paired up with Tathiana Garbin, captain of the BJK Cup Italian national team, while in the FIP Gold in Dubai her partner had been Caterina Baldi. In Rome, Sara will play with 20-year-old Giulia Dal Pozzo, one of the talents to watch in Italian padel; the other wild card for the main draw went to Martina Parmigiani and roman Chiara Pappacena.

In the men's tournament, on the other hand, wild cards for the main draw went to the ‘Azzurri’ Giulio Graziotti (also from Rome) and Simone Cremona, Simone Iacovino (who will play at home having been born in the capital) and Lorenzo Di Giovanni. In the main draw Alvaro Montiel Caruso and Flavio Abbate are also included. Riccardo Sinicropi, paired with Spaniard Jorge Ruiz, received a wild card for the qualifiers instead.

SOME OF THE NEW FACILITIES - From an organizational point of view, the site will be structured on a total of ten courts: five dedicated to official matches and five intended for training and side activities. A configuration designed to facilitate the competition program and guarantee athletes’ adequate space for preparation, in line with the standards of an international caliber’s event. The Foro Italico theater is preparing to host eight days of great spectacle with the now well-established combined formula, which will see men and women starring simultaneously on the same stage. The men's main draw will consist of 48 pairs and the women’s of 40, promising excitement and challenges of the highest level.

In addition, a national wheelchair padel tournament, the BNL Italy Major Wheelchair Padel, will be held on June 8th and 9th, confirming the commitment to inclusiveness and the development of the discipline in all its forms.

THE SCHEDULE - The BNL Italy Major Premier Padel will kick off with the qualifiers, which will be played on Sunday, June 8th, and Monday, June 9th. On Tuesday, June 10th , however, the men's and women's main draws will start simultaneously.
