A result that was anything but certain, considering the value of their rivals and the debut performance of Paquito and the Lobo in Rome, which had more shadows than lights. Apparently, the comfortable victory the following day brought the confidence they needed.
In 48 hours, the former number ones transformed into two different players, capable of having so much fun that they smiled between points. Disrespectful? Quite the opposite. It's their way of being and a precious ingredient for their chemistry, because to win, or successfully accelerate in the crucial phases as they did today, they primarily need to feel good together.
