Galan beats (again) Lebron: the stunning semifinal in 10 shots

First men’s semifinal at the BNL Italy Major: Franco Stupaczuk and Juan Lebron against Ale Galan and Federico Chingotto.

Lebron and Stupaczuk were chasing their first final together in a Major.

Chingotto and Galan returned to Rome aiming for a repeat of their triumph at the 2024 BNL Italy Major.

Franco Stupaczuk: for two sets, he played padel at an exceptional level.

Backed by the italian crowd, Juan Lebron came closer than ever to beating his former partner.

Federico Chingotto: raised his level as the match progressed, and led Galan to victory.

After losing the first set, Chingotto and Galan came back to win 4-6, 7-6, 6-2 in 2 hours and 9 minutes.

There was no post-match hug between Lebron and Galan, but the handshake was there.
